Purpose
The SOAP Mentoring Academy is a community of individuals passionate about mentoring the growth, learning, and career development of the next generation of those committed to providing obstetric anesthesia care. Participation is open to SOAP members only.
Goals
To enhance the personal and professional development of mentors and mentees, as a benefit to SOAP members, by:
- Providing guidance, advice, and support
- Connecting individuals
- Creating targeted programs and events

Mentor/Mentee Matching Program - 2023-2024 Term & Deadlines
- June 23, 2023 - Applications for Mentor/Mentee pairings open.
- July 26, 2023 - Applications for Mentor/Mentee pairings close
- August 15, 2023 - Mentors & Mentees will be paired for a 9-month commitment
- May 2024 - Mentor/Mentee 9-month commitment is completed
- (meet up at SOAP Annual Meeting if possible)
