2023 SOAP Abstract Submission Information Submit your SOAP 2023 Abstract!

Submission Dates: January 3, 2023 - Feb. 1, 2023

Notification: Presenting Authors will be notified in early March of their acceptance status.

Submission Site:  We are using Cadmium CD again this year to gather abstract submissions. If you submitted to SOAP using this system in the past you will use your previous log on to access your profile information.  If this is the first time you are submitting to SOAP, you will need to create a new profile.  Submit your abstract here.

Presenting Author: The Presenting Author is the person who will be PRESENTING the abstract IN PERSON at the SOAP Annual Meeting if accepted. This individual's name will be listed in all materials as being the presenting author and whose name will appear on all required forms.  All communication on the abstract will be sent to this individual.

Previous Publication: The work presented here should not have been published in a journal before presentation at SOAP. The work MAY have been submitted for publication, but the publication date (online or in print) should be AFTER presentation at SOAP.

Character Limit: The abstract character count is limited to 3000 characters, including spaces. References are included in the count. Images or additional files do not impact the character count.

Attached Files:

  • You may submit one(1) additional item such as an image, chart, graph, or table.
  • Only one item should be included in the file.(Do not submit one file with 5 charts, graphs, etc. in the file) 
  • This item will appear at the end of the abstract and will be scaled to fit into the allotted space.
  • The following file types are accepted: .bmp, . gif, .jpg, . png, .tif, .pdf.
  • TXT is not supported for upload. Please convert to a .pdf, or other supported format.
  • There is a 5000Kb limit on file size. Submission will fail if this is exceeded.

Deadline & Confirmation: You must fully submit your abstract before the February 1, 2023 deadline – you will receive an email confirming your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation, the abstract was not submitted.
